Our First Sunprinting Workshop!

Summer isn't only meant to be enjoyed by the beach. Last weekend, we had our first event at the studio - Sunprinting Workshop! The summer heat didn't stop everyone from having a blast printing on totes, postcards, and tea towels. :)

As a sample, I sunprinted on this tote bag using dried maple leaves. I really like how it turned out!

After the instructions were given, the participants started to work on their own projects. They were free to use and experiment with all the craft materials on the table.

After a couple of hours, they came up with such amazing projects!

We also had a craft pop-up shop - there were washi, twines, stamps, and books.

After crafting, we had lunch together. My younger brother, Ged, prepared a delicious chicken meal for us. :)

Thanks to everyone who joined the workshop. As Meghan, one of the participants said, "stay sun-kissed!"

PS  Sorry we could only accommodate 7 participants as the studio isn't that big. We're going to have more workshops this summer though. Head on to www.heykessy.com/register to see the schedule.
